About European Boxing

European Boxing is a not-for-profit, continental sports federation which aims to put the interests of boxers first and ensure that boxing remains at the heart of the Olympic movement. European Boxing is a Continental Federation of World Boxing

It was established by a group of like-minded individuals from a number of National Federations across Europe in response to the persistent issues surrounding Olympic-style boxing’s international governing body. These included long-standing concerns from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) over sporting integrity, governance, transparency, and financial management — all of which put the future of boxing in the Olympics at risk.

European Boxing offers an alternative and was founded on the principles of integrity, honesty and transparency.

A sustainable
and inclusive
sporting structure.

The organisation is underpinned by rigorous governance practices and aims to create a sustainable and inclusive sporting structure where boxers from across Europe can compete and excel, knowing that the integrity of the sport is guaranteed and competition is fair.

It ensures the views of athletes are represented at the highest level and includes both a male and female boxer with voting rights on its Executive Board.

Since its launch in 2023, European Boxing has welcomed a growing number of member federations across the continent.
