
European Boxing has agreed to a commercial partnership with Sting, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of premium boxing equipment.
The exclusive, four-year sponsorship deal means Sting will become European Boxing’s official equipment supplier and provide all the gloves, protectives, hand-wraps, tapes and training equipment used by boxers during European Boxing tournaments including European Boxing Championships.
The agreement also includes, that Sting will provide expertise and advice on the development of competition equipment and contribute to the work of European Boxing’s Sport and Competition Committee.
European Boxing’s President, Lars Brovil, said: “we want the best for our boxers. Signing a partnership with one of the world’s top suppliers of premium boxing equipment is extremely positive for European Boxing and its members. It shows that a leading boxing brand like Sting shares our values and principles and want to be associated with European Boxing.
“This deal will significantly enhance the quality and prestige of our competitions and is great news for all of the boxers using Sting equipment in European Boxing tournaments in the coming years, as they know they will be competing with top quality products and equipment.”

Sting is a supplier of premium boxing equipment for Olympic boxers, professionals and fitness participants. Sting was the official equipment supplier for boxing to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and has supply agreements with over 20 leading National Federations. Furthermore, Sting is the exclusive Equipment Supplier for World Boxing as well.
