The interest for the upcoming Boxam U15-U17-U19 Tournament and its pre-training camp was very high from all corner of the world and 29 nations from all of the five continents are planning to send their athletes to La Nucia, Spain.
The Royal Spanish Boxing Federation’s next event, the Boxam Tournament for the U15, U17 and U19 boxers will take place in La Nucia, Spain between August 31 and September 6.
Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, France, Ghana, Guinea, Iceland, Ivory Coast, Kuwait, Latvia, Mexico, Moldova, the Netherland, New Zealand, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Serbia, Seychelles, Spain, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela have registered to the busy Boxam Tournament.
The important pre-training camp was held before the Boxam Tournament in the same location in la Nucia from August 24 until the 30th.
Spain’s top event will take place in the Camilo Cano Sports Hall which was also the venue of the record-breaking 2022 Youth World Boxing Championships.
The accommodation of the new Boxam Tournament will be the new BCL Podium La Nucia Hotel, which is located only a walking distance to the competition venue.
The U19 boxers can use the Boxam Tournament for preparation to the U19 World Boxing Championships which will be held in October 14-28.
The U17 athletes have the chance to test themselves before the European U17 Boxing Championships which will be held in Budva, Montenegro on October 1-11.
The U15 pugilists can also use the next Boxam Tournament as active preparations before the European U15 Boxing Championships which will be held in Trabzon, Turkey on October 15-26.
